When I was a kid, my family kept our trips pretty simple. We often spent long weekends tent camping at a nearby lake. My dad had a yellow speedboat that we always took with us. I enjoyed when he would drive us around the lake, but frankly, I was NOT an outdoorsy child. I appreciate nature much more now.

As I shared in my previous blog post, "The Heart of the Matter: A Blogger’s Wellness Evolution," a significant part of my wellness journey involves focusing on my emotional, intellectual, physical, and social health. Writing this blog is a big part of that, but so is taking charge of my physical health. As mentioned, I’ve always prioritized caring for others over myself. I’m trying to change that.

I’ve always been a big daydreamer, spending countless hours lost in my imagination and coming up with new and creative ideas. I love inventing recipes, exploring new hobbies, and I am constantly rewriting the endings of movies and books in my head—or creating entirely new stories.

I don’t believe in regret. It’s a wasted emotion. We all make mistakes; the goal is to learn from them and grow. Spending time thinking “what if” or how you “should have” done something does not improve the situation; learning from it does.
